| EPF recognizes human capital as its most valuable asset.
It is intended to leverage existing knowledge base so that
our manpower are effectively empowered and equipped to fulfil
their statutory mandate as Provident Fund and Pension providers.
It is recognized that a reformed organizational system and
a technical system will achieve the desired goals once the
officers and staff of the EPF Organisation are equipped to
effectively exploit the reformed systems and processes.
To achieve this a special training & development initiative
is being mounted with the following essential elements:
- IT training program to all line (operational) and staff
(supervisory) functionaries in all regions to extend computer
literacy.
- Special training to all operational & staff levels
for familiarization with reformed and re-engineered processes
and procedures immediately after the same are accepted for
implementation.
- Leadership programs for executive level at lower and middle
management to identify and develop transformational leadership,
and change management skills.
- Programs for line and staff functionaries to cover areas
of attitudinal change, customer relations and coping with
change in the work environment will be introduced at an
appropriate stage to mesh with the installation cycle for
the technical system.
- Specialized programs for each process in different functional
areas.
All the above programs are under development and will be
sequenced and introduced in the context of the timing of the
reformed business processes and its supporting technical systems.
